Mission Statement

The Humane Society of Southeast Texas is dedicated to enriching the lives of pets and people through advocacy, education, and forever homes for our companion animals.

Brief History

Founded in 1962, HSSET has been a Southeast Texas institution for over fifty years. We are a fully non-profit 501(3)(c) organization run entirely on donor contributions, community volunteers, and a lot of love.
