Humane Society of Southeast Texas Animal Clinic
With the overabundance of unwanted litters, HSSET has started a Low Cost Spay/Neuter service as well as vaccination program. This program is designed to help individuals who might not have access to proper veterinary care due to income. Our goal is to ensure that all animals are able to receive appropriate health care regardless of their situation.
Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is strongly recommended to evaluate internal organ function and identify potential anesthetic risks; however, it is not required. This service may be performed in-house if the owner elects to proceed. If the owner chooses to decline pre-anesthetic bloodwork, they acknowledge the increased risk associated with anesthesia and agree to sign the required waiver(s) releasing the clinic and its staff from liability related to conditions that may have been detected through such testing.
Spay & Neuter Services

A $90 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required at time of scheduling, which will be applied to the balance of your appointment.
- All animals over the age of 5years are considered High-Risk and the appropriate waivers must be signed at the time of check-in.

Proof of Rabies Vaccination will be required for all surgeries. If unvaccinated, the rabies vaccine will be administered at the owner’s expense.

Up to 25k total household income – Canine/$75 – Feline/$55
26k – 35k total household income – Canine/$90 – Feline/$70
36k – 45k total household income – Canine/$105 – Feline/$85
