About Our Clinic

The Humane Society of Southeast Texas Clinic is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pets throughout Southeast Texas by providing affordable, accessible veterinary care. In response to the overabundance of unwanted litters and the lack of affordable veterinary services in many areas, HSSET established a Low Cost Spay/Neuter and Vaccination Program to help reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare across our community.

This program is designed to assist pet owners who may not otherwise have access to proper veterinary care due to financial limitations. Our goal is to ensure that all
animals, regardless of their owners’ circumstances, have access to essential preventive healthcare services. The clinic offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchipping, wellness care, and other preventive health services that help keep pets healthy and in their homes.

By reducing financial barriers to veterinary care, the clinic helps prevent unwanted litters, decreases shelter intake, and promotes responsible pet ownership. The clinic serves families throughout Southeast Texas, including underserved and low-income households, helping pets receive the care they need to live healthy, happy lives.

In addition to its direct impact on animal welfare, the clinic serves as an important source of revenue earned for the Humane Society of Southeast Texas. Revenue generated through clinic services helps support the organization’s broader mission, including animal sheltering, adoptions, community outreach, cruelty prevention, and lifesaving programs. By utilizing clinic services, community members are not only investing in the health of their own pets but are also helping HSSET provide care and support for thousands of animals in need each year.

As part of the Humane Society of Southeast Texas’ mission, the clinic plays a vital role in supporting both animal welfare and the human-animal bond, helping pets remain with the families who love them while creating a healthier community for animals and people alike.
